In patients with venous occlusive disease, failed venous access attempts may prevent permanent arteriovenous (AV) access — increasing patient morbidity and the overall cost of care. The Surfacer® Inside-Out® Access Catheter System restores and preserves access in chronically occluded veins, changing the standard of care.

How It Works

1. Totally occluded superior vena cava — Identifies the occlusion site for targeted intervention
2. Exit target positioning — Positions the Surfacer device to exit the skin at the optimal zone
3. Introducer sheath deployment — Sheath is locked onto the needle wire and pulled into the right atrium to establish access
