Fountain® Infusion System

The Fountain® Infusion System features exclusive gradient hole sizes that are laser-drilled in a spiraling pattern for more uniform dispersion of therapeutic agents. Available in 4F and 5F configurations with multiple delivery options: traditional 2-syringe infusion or pulse infusion via Merit Medical's exclusive Squirt® Fluid Dispensing System. Both systems include the Squirt syringe, catheter, occluding wire, and AccessPLUS™ hemostasis valve.

• Gradient Hole Sizes — Exclusive laser-drilled gradient holes allow uniform infusion of therapeutic agent along the entire infusion segment, optimized for continuous slow-drip or pulsed infusion techniques
• Longer Infusion Segments — Both 4F and 5F products offer infusion segments from 5 cm to 50 cm
• Catheter — Compatible with 0.035" (0.89 mm) guide wire; fabricated for proper stiffness, good trackability, and ease of placement
• Occluding Wire — Blocks the end hole so therapeutic agent is directed out the side holes directly into the thrombus
• Hemostasis Valve (AccessPLUS™) — Large bore valve allows easy wire placement while minimizing blood loss; airless rotator minimizes bubbles
• High Pressure Check Relief Valve — Ensures injection occurs only from the infusion syringe; in-line design provides better handling during pulsed infusion
• 4F Proprietary Snap Cap — Snaps into the hemostasis valve ensuring correct wire placement and security for overnight or long-term infusions
• 5F Proprietary Wire Protector Cap — Covers the proximal end of the occluding wire and snaps into the hemostasis valve
• Squirt® Fluid Delivery System — Delivers consistent, forceful, pulsed injections for optimal thrombolysis procedures
• Pulse Infusion Kits — Designed for use with Fountain® and Mistique® catheters; available with 1 ml infusion syringe, 20 ml reservoir syringe, check relief valve, and optional hemostasis valve
